NXT wrestler Keanu Carver (Kevin Robertson) took to social media on Wednesday after a story broke that a female NXT wrestler was granted an order of protection against him. “Yall gone sound dumb ash in a month,” Carver wrote on Twitter/X. Carver followed up by writing, “Fake ass virtue signaling mfs ???? everything done inna dark come to light ????.” Carver later deleted both tweets.
Powell’s POV: Is it really “fake ass virtue signaling” if people take issue with a police report that accuses him of grabbing a woman by the throat, spitting on her, and threatening to kill her and her cats. Obviously, that’s one person’s side of the story, and he deserves to tell his, but I wouldn’t call it virtue signaling if people are calling out this alleged behavior. The story was broke on Tuesday via PostWrestling.com, and I also covered it here on ProWrestling.net.
