Kevin Robertson, who wrestles as Keanu Carver, may have worked his final day in NXT. A female wrestler filed for an order of protection against Carver (Kevin Robertson) on September 14 in a Florida court. The woman accused Robertson of stalking and harassment by making unwanted visits and phone calls after their relationship ended. A judge granted a temporary order of protection during a September 22 hearing. The order of protection continues until the next hearing, which is scheduled for October 20.
Brandon Thurston and John Pollock of Post Wrestling report that a 49-page filing includes screenshots of Robertson’s calls, and security footage of his alleged unwanted visits to the petitioner’s home. They also report that the State Attorney’s Office told them that the case is being investigated and declined to say whether charges will be filed. Read more on the story at PostWrestling.com.
Powell’s POV: I’m told that Carver has been essentially banned from the WWE Performance Center, which is understandable given that a co-worker filed the order of protection. Per the order of protection, Robertson is not allowed to make any contact with the petitioner and must stay at least 500 feet away from her. The allegations also include claims of Robertson grabbing the woman by the throat, spitting on her, and threatening to kill her and her cats. If the allegations against Robertson are true, then it’s hard to imagine WWE continuing to employ him. The petitioner remains employed by WWE and has worked after filing the order of protection.
