[Hour One] Raw opened with highlights from last week’s show with The 946’s Royce Keys, Bronco Nima, and Lucien Price abducting Solo Sikoa… Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett were on commentary…
Jacob Fatu, Jimmy Uso, and Jey Uso made their entrance while ring announcer Alicia Taylor introduced them. Once in the ring, Jimmy said that Solo Sikoa is still their little brother despite their issues. Fatu said he’s been telling the other Bloodline members to sit back. Fatu said that’s on him. He warned The 946 that the Bloodline was going to dogwalk their asses. Jey delivered the warning shot line, and they all dropped their mics. Fatu looked at the hard camera and made a “bring it” motion.
An SUV was shown on the big screen pulling into the indoor parking area. The Bloodline trio rushed to the back, assuming it was the 946. A crew member opened one of the SUV’s doors and told the person that Raw General Manager Adam Pearce was expecting them. The Bloodline showed up ready to fight.
NXT wrestler Jaida Parker emerged from the SUV. Jey asked what she was doing there. Parker said she was there to talk to Pearce…
Powell’s POV: Parker showing up is a fun surprise on more than one level. By the way, WrestleTix listed the host venue as being set up for 8,604 with 8,138 tickets distributed. The total number of seats on the map is 15,943. The last time WWE ran the venue, 8,731 tickets were distributed for the September 8, 2025, Raw show.
Tessitore narrated arrival shots of Oba Femi, Dragon Lee and Rey Mysterio, Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer, and Penta…
They stuck with the Penta shot, as Je’Von Evans showed up and greeted him. Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh confronted the duo. Evans mocked the size of McDonagh’s head. Penta challenged Dom and McDonagh to face him and Evans later in the show. Dom said they’d see them in the ring…
Lola Vice made her entrance for the opening match before the first commercial break… [C] Tessitore touted WWE’s deal with Bleacher Report that was announced earlier in the day… Roxanne Perez was in the ring coming out of the break…
1. Lola Vice vs. Roxanne Perez. Perez didn’t have any of her Judgment Day allies with her when the match started. Vice applied a rear naked choke. Perez rolled to ringside, while Vice maintained the hold. Perez pushed Vice’s back into the ring steps to break the hold. Perez performed a Northern Lights Suplex on the floor. [C]
Vice caught Perez in an armbar submission hold on the mat, but Perez rolled on top of her for a two count, which forced Vice to release the hold. Vice threw a nice kick at Perez, who rolled her up for a near fall. Vice drilled Perez with a spinning back fist and then pinned her.
Lola Vice defeated Roxanne Perez in 10:25.
Raquel Rodriguez showed up and blasted Vice with a big boot. Sol Ruca ran out and got the better of Rodriguez until Perez got involved. Rodriguez put Ruca down with a Tejana Bomb. Rodriguez hit Pop Rox on Vice. Perez and Rodriguez left Vice and Ruca lying…
Powell’s POV: A fun, competitive match. I assume the post-match fight will set up a tag team match for next week’s Raw.
Rapper Ty Dolla $ign was shown in the crowd…
Jackie Redmond interviewed Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee in a locker room. Lee started getting fired up about his match when his opponent, Big Cass, entered the room and talked smack. Rey held back Lee…
Oba Femi was shown walking backstage while Tessitore said he would appear after the break… [C] Tessitore mentioned WWE Radio changing channels on Thursday…
A 946 social media video aired. Royce Keys said somebody wasn’t making it off the block tonight…
Oba Femi made his entrance. Oba, who had a contract folder, told the crowd to settle down. He said he wasn’t dressed for combat, but that could easily change. Oba said he was there for business. He spoke about his issues with The Vision.
Oba said Bronson Reed is a disrespectful SOB. He said he would give Reed some grace because he was missing for seven months. Oba said Reed wasn’t around when the torch was passed to him, and he doesn’t understand that he is the captain now.
Oba said he had a signed contract for Money in the Bank that was approved by Adam Pearce and stamped and sealed by Triple H. He said they couldn’t just keep smashing each other week after week. Oba said a wise man taught him how business is done. Some fans reacted to the Paul Heyman tease. Oba called for Reed to come out and make it official.
Bronson Reed walked out dressed in black and entered the ring. Reed took the contract folder. Reed said Oba has some balls because they’ve been in the ring twice, and he’s put Oba down twice. Reed said he gets that Oba put down Brock Lesnar twice, but he stressed that he’s not Brock Lesnar. Reed said he wasn’t there to compete; he’s there to dethrone The Ruler. Reed signed the contract and exited the ring.
Oba told Reed that he has some balls by sealing his fate. Reed said Heyman is playing games by sending Reed after him when he knows he can’t be stopped. Oba wished Reed luck and said he would need it…
Powell’s POV: This was nothing special. I liked Oba’s wiseman tease, but the calm and cool approach from both men brought the crowd down.
Footage aired from earlier in the day of Adam Pearce talking with Iyo Sky outside his office. Lyra Valkyria interrupted and questioned why she had to come find Pearce to find out what’s next for her. Valkyria said her career is on the rise, while Sky’s is on the way down. Pearce booked them in a match. Valkyria said Pearce better be ready to talk to her about a championship match after she wins. Valkyria walked away. “Adam, she has issues,” Sky said…
Dragon Lee made his entrance… [C] Tessitore hyped tickets for the Australian events in December going on sale this week… A portion of Big Cass’s entrance was televised…
2. Big Cass vs. Dragon Lee. Cass was entering the ring when Lee dropkicked him. The referee rewarded Lee by calling for the opening bell. Cass put Lee down with a big boot. Cass was dominating Lee heading into a break. [C] Cass was still in offensive control coming out of the break.
[Hour Two] Lee rallied, which upset Cass. Lee pulled down the top rope when Cass charged, which sent Cass to the floor. Lee performed a huracanrana from the apron to the floor. Lee returned to the ring and hit a big suicide dive.
Back in the ring, Cass got Lee on his shoulders. Lee went for an Octopus hold, but Cass avoided it. Lee put Cass down with a DDT. Lee drilled a Hidden Blade for a near fall. Lee went for Operation Dragon, but Cass stuffed it. Cass went for a chokeslam, but Lee countered into a sunset flip and got the three count.
Dragon Lee beat Dragon Lee in 12:15.
Powell’s POV: The crowd rallied behind Lee with each offensive flurry and popped nicely when he got the upset win. But that’s probably the last time I’ll label a Cass loss to a main roster wrestler as an upset for a while, as he’s lost to Lee and Je’Von Evans in recent weeks.
Inside the Bloodline dressing room, Jacob Fatu yelled about it being all gas, no brakes tonight. Fatu said no matter what happened, they needed to stick together. Fatu called Jimmy “Big Jim,” and they shook hands. Fatu referred to Jey as “punk-ass Jey,” and they still shook hands… [C]
Powell’s POV: Will Fatu turn on the Usos tonight?
Some Milwaukee Bucks players were shown holding up a replica title belt in the front row. They cut to a shot of some Milwaukee Brewers players, who held up their own replica title belt. The fans were louder for the Brewers players for those keeping score at home…
Jackie Redmond interviewed Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer and asked how she would choose whether to defend her title against Liv Morgan or Becky Lynch. Vaquer said she’s ready to fight, but if Morgan or Lynch want to face her, they’ll need to face one another first. Vaquer said Morgan and Vaquer will meet in a No. 1 contenders match on next week’s Raw to determine who will challenge her at Money in the Bank…
Powell’s POV: Why does Vaquer get to decide who she will defend her title against, let alone book a No. 1 contenders match?
An LA Knight promo video aired. He talked about being held back by politics and people like Roman Reigns. He said he’s the last of a dying breed and claimed he’s bulletproof, but he also understands that this might be his last shot…
Iyo Sky made her entrance… [C] The end of Lyra Valkyria’s entrance was shown…
3. Iyo Sky vs. Lyra Valkyria. Valkyria executed a pendulum swing on Sky a couple of minutes into the match. Sky rallied and got some help from a female fan as she climbed onto the barricade. Sky hit a crossbody block on Valkyria and then high-fived the fan. Valkyria tripped Sky on the apron and then dropkicked her back to the floor. [C]
