Maple Leaf Pro “Mayhem – Episode 11”
Taped August 7-8, 2026, in Windsor, Ontario, at St. Clair College
Aired September 24, 2026, on TSN2 and streamed free on MyAEW.com
The crowd looks good, maybe 500 to 700. Mauro Ranallo and Don Callis provided commentary.
** This was presumably recorded August 8, as MLP held tapings August 7-8, but it appears no results for either night have been submitted to cagematch.net. If I am correct on the date, this is the second episode from this taping.
* The show opened with Priscilla Kelly fighting back tears backstage as she clutched her newly won Women’s Title. This segment presented her talking immediately upon getting backstage after winning the belt last week. She’s been through hell, but now she’s champion!
1. Stu Grayson vs. Dior Nolins. My first time seeing Dior, a young Black man in green pants. Stu kicked him in the stomach, picked him up, and hit the Night Fall (Torture Rack-into-a-backbreaker over the knee) for the pin! Yes, it really was that short!
Stu Grayson defeated Dior Nolins at 0:25.
* Stu got on the mic and directed his anger at Don Callis. He ordered Don to leave commentary and come into the ring. Callis stood up and took a few hesitant steps down the ramp, but Josh Alexander came out (wearing a suit) and waved Callis back to his seat. Alexander got in the ring and stood toe-to-toe with Stu. Josh said he’s known Grayson for two months. He said to Stu, “You have been walking around here for two months with his replica title, beating your chest. But understand one thing … Daddy is home now.” Josh told him to shake his hand now and leave the fighting until October 3. They shook hands, but then Josh slapped him in the face!! They traded punches until Josh scampered away. A really strong segment.
* Footage aired of Priscilla Kelly’s win, and we heard from Nikki Storm about her getting the first title shot against Kelly. Again, both Kelly and Storm have had a lot of “mean girl energy” at the other.
2. Alexia Nicole (w/Kris Chambers, Taylor Rising) vs. “Mean” Alice Crowley. Again, Crowley dresses like a trucker, but her looks are similar to Elayna Black or Skye Blue. Blue-haired Nicole is a top-tier Canadian talent, but she’s only about 4’10”. A clean lockup to open, and Crowley hit some armdrags and a running boot for a nearfall. Nicole hit a running boot in the corner. She mounted Alice and repeatedly punched her. Nicole hit a Lungblower for a nearfall at 2:30.
Nicole hit a shotgun dropkick, a Meteora, and a snap suplex for a nearfall. Crowley hit some clotheslines and a pump kick to the chest, then a back suplex for a nearfall. Chambers distracted the ref! Taylor hopped on the apron and pushed Crowley off the turnbuckles to the mat. Nicole immediately rolled up Crowley for the tainted pin. Good for the time given. Jody Threat ran into the ring to beat up the three heels.
Alexia Nicole defeated Alice Crowley at 4:08.
* A vignette for Crazzy Steve, as he talked about mentoring and stalking Psycho Mike. These have been pretty well done and entertaining.
3. Johnny TV, TJP, and Gabriel Fuerza vs. El Reverso, Luiji Primo, and Mo Jabari. Fuerza has had at least one MLP match; he’s a regular in Canada’s C*4 Wrestling. TJP’s team was presented as heels, and they immediately stomped on Reverso. TJP went to spray mist on Luiji, but Primo blocked it with his pizza crust (never ever have I written that sentence before). Luiji dove to the floor onto the heels. Back in the ring, TJP’s team worked over Primo in their corner. Fuerza hit a back suplex.
Primo hit a spin kick into the corner on Johnny TV. Mo put Johnny in a Sharpshooter! Reverso also put a crossface on Johnny TV. Reverso hit a Hart Attack clothesline. Johnny got a flash rollup on Reverso for a nearfall. Johnny hit the Starship Pain (slit-legged corkscrew moonsault) on Reverso for the pin. That was fast and fun. TJP’s team will face Mascara Dorada and Subculture at Northern Rising!
Johnny TV, TJP, and Gabriel Fuerza defeated El Reverso, Luiji Primo, and Mo Jabari at 4:14.
* Steve Maclin was walking down the street and got in a car. Deonna Purrazzo was behind the wheel, and she immediately yelled at him for coming to her work and starting fights. Maclin thanked her for bailing him out. She said she didn’t. The phone rang. Maclin picked it up and had a face-to-face call with Adam Copeland, who bailed him out. He told Maclin to hug Deonna tight, because he’s coming for Steve on Oct. 3.
4. Andrade El Idolo vs. Karl Anderson (w/Doc Gallows). Four women came out of the back with Andrade. Again, Seleziya Sparx was one of them; I didn’t recognize the others. They posed for a picture with him and kissed his cheek. They vanished to the back, and he came to the ring by himself. The Good Brothers came out second. A clean lockup to open and some basic reversals and a feeling-out process. Andrade hit an Irish Whip. Karl hit several knee drops across Andrade’s forehead.
Callis and Ranallo ran down the matches for Northern Rising. Andrade hit a plancha to the floor at 4:30, then he shoved Anderson shoulder-first into the ring post. Andrade jawed at Gallows as he removed his pants. The rear of his trunks, of course, read “How You Know?” and the crowd immediately chanted that. He took a picture with two women in the front row. [C]
Back from the three-second break, they were back in the ring, and they traded clotheslines. Anderson hit a spinebuster for a nearfall at 7:00. Andrade hit a series of rolling suplexes. Andrade hit a top-rope crossbody block for a nearfall at 9:00. Callis said Andrade’s trunks should be considered illegal because they are so small. Andrade hit a Meteora for a nearfall. They got up and traded forearm strikes. Andrade hit the hard back elbow, then the double-underhook twisting neckbreaker for the clean pin. Good match.
Andrade El Idolo defeated Karl Anderson at 10:15.
* “Capitan Suicida” slid into the ring, and the Good Brothers left. However, Suicida struck Andrade in the back with a chair. Suicida removed his mask, and it was actually Rohan Raja! (Only Mauro Ranallo was fooled. No one in the crowd thought that was Suicida.)
Final Thoughts: The build to Northern Rising has been pretty perfect. All the top matches have been given storylines and have been well-presented. A really good main event from Andrade and Anderson, and a really strong show-opening segment from Alexander and Grayson. Josh’s line that Stu’s belt is just a “replica” really angered Grayson.
I’ve consistently advocated for more Canadians to be part of this show, and it was good to see Alexia Nicole get a match, but it’s a bit surprising to see that match with no direct ties to the upcoming PPV. The six-man tag of TJP’s team vs. Mascara Dorada’s team set up for the PPV could be a show-stealer.
