WWE reveals the tournament bracket to determine Roman Reigns’ challenger in Mexico City

By Jason Powell, ProWrestling.net Editor (@prowrestlingnet)

WWE announced the brackets and dates for the tournament to determine Roman Reigns’ challenger for the World Heavyweight Championship on the September 14 Raw television show in Mexico City.

Top Half of the Bracket

-Penta vs. Laredo Kid (Monday’s Raw)

-Psycho Clown vs. La Parka (August 15 AAA TV)

Bottom Half of the Bracket

-Dragon Lee vs. El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. (August 17 Raw)

-Rey Fénix vs. El Fiscal (August 17 Raw)

Powell’s POV: The rumored favorite El Grande Americano is not in the tournament. Of course, it’s pro wrestling, so they can always make a change. The winner will challenge Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship on the September 14 Raw television show in Mexico City, Mexico, at Arena CDMX. It’s unclear when the semifinals will be held.
