Alpha-1 Wrestling “Final Act 13”
November 1, 2026, in Hamilton, Ontario, at the Columbus Club
Streamed live via YouTube.com
This is the small ballroom with a low ceiling and chandeliers. Reed Duthie provided commentary. It was absolutely packed in there with maybe 250 fans. Again, Hamilton is south of Toronto, located between Detroit and Buffalo.
1. Javi (Bernal) vs. Ichiban. A clean lockup to open, and Javi knocked him down with a shoulder tackle. Ichiban hit several armdrags and a dropkick. He backed Javi into a corner and hit his “One!” punches, then a springboard twisting crossbody block for a nearfall at 2:30. Javi knocked him off the apron to the floor. Ichiban hit an Arabian Press to the floor. In the ring, he hit an enzuigiri, but Javi hit a superkick to the jaw. Ichiban hit a tornado DDT and they were both down at 4:30. Javi hit a back-body drop and a Helluva Kick and a clothesline.
Ichiban hit a bulldog, then a 619 and a frog splash for a nearfall at 6:30. Javi hit a powerbomb, and he locked in a vertical Boston Crab. Javi avoided a second 619. Ichiban hit a Naito-style Destino for a nearfall at 8:00! Javi hit a Tombstone Piledriver for a nearfall. They traded forearm strikes while on their knees. They got up and continued trading blows. They traded rollups. Ichiban nailed a huracanrana for the flash pin! That was a tremendous opener.
Ichiban defeated Javi (Bernal) at 10:31.
* Backstage, Channing Thomas talked about having to defend his belt against two men, not one. He called his opponents “two sore losers.” His “Touch of Class” faction partners TJ Crawford and Sam Holloway stood behind him. Channing said those two would enter a tag gauntlet last, and said they would win tag gold tonight.
* We then heard from Javi, who was upset he lost. Dante Chen walked up and comforted him. Donovan Dijak approached both of them and said the last time he saw Dante, he was choking him out!
2. Jay Blast vs. Xavier Walker vs. Jon Jon Tavious vs. Luke Kaiden vs. Jurgen Musabelliu vs. Thomas Heim vs. Tyler Jordan vs. Wes Barkley vs. Love, Doug vs. Solomon Tupu vs. Bryce Hansen for the Outer Limits Title. Again, wrestlers can be eliminated by pinfall, submission, knockout, or thrown over the top rope to the floor. My first time seeing Jurgen, who has a massive frame. Blast won this match last year. Hansen was slated to face Anthony Greene, who couldn’t make it, so Bryce was thrown in here. Tupu also was not advertised for this. Barkley came out draped in the U.S. flag, so he was heavily booed.
Everyone attacked Xavier, who is about 6’6″. (Again, I always compare him to EJ Nduka.) Xavier and Tupu traded blows. Tupu hit the Samoan Drop-and-fallaway slam combo on Heim and Love Doug! Tupu hit a Tsunami frog splash onto both of them! However, Barkley raked Tupu’s eyes and flipped him to the floor at 2:50. Jon Jon hit a stunner on Blast. Walker hit a double spear. Xavier chokeslammed Jon Jon for the pin at 4:06. Tyler superkicked Jurgen. Jurgen hit a double stomp on Tyler, who rolled to the floor.
Jurgen hit a release German Suplex on Kaiden. Bryce hit a DVD on Jurgen, then a decapitating clothesline to pin Jurgen at 5:54. Kaiden rolled up Barkley for a flash pin at 6;23! Barkley continued to punch Luke, even though he had been eliminated. Blast tossed the prone Kaiden at 6:57. Tyler hit a spin kick to Doug’s jaw for a nearfall. Tyler hit a dropkick on Walker, then a Blue Thunder Bomb, but Walker rolled to the floor to avoid being pinned. Doug hit the Lariat of Love to pin Jordan at 8:32.
Doug and Heim — who look like twins! — traded blows, and Heim hit a DVD. Bryce powerbombed Heim onto Blast in the corner. Bryce then powerbombed and pinned Heim at 9:27. Blast and Bryce traded rollups. Bryce hit a Buckle Bomb. However, Blast got a rollup with his feet on the ropes to pin Bryce at 10:13. Blast struck Doug with the title belt across the forehead. He mounted Doug and repeatedly punched him. The ref ruled Doug was knocked out at 10:39! Blast thought he had won, but Xavier Walker climbed back into the ring and knocked him down with a punch. Xavier hit a chokeslam for the pin!
Xavier Walker won an 11-man match to win the Outer Limits Title at 11:36.
* A video package aired for the next match.
3. Jimmy Townsend vs. Tyler Thomas in a street fight. They brawled out of the back, and I started the stopwatch. Thomas got some chairs. We finally got a bell at 1:39. Thomas slammed him face-first onto an open chair. He hit a sideslam onto the open chair. I’ll point out both guys wore blue jeans and T-shirts; they were dressed for a fight. Townsend put a garbage can over Tyler’s head and hit a dropkick at 4:00. Basic back-and-forth brawling between them. Thomas tied him in the Tree of Woe and dropkicked a chair into Townsend’s ribs at 6:30.
Thomas set up a table bridge. However, Townsend tossed him through the table and got a nearfall at 9:30. Thomas hit a uranage, and he threw Townsend like a lawn dart into a garbage can wedged in the corner at 12:00. Thomas hit a Roderick-style gutbuster over his knees for a nearfall. Townsend handcuffed them together. Townsend connected Thomas to a chain on a table! He hit a top-rope double stomp onto Tyler’s back, sending him crashing through the table, and pinned him.
Jimmy Townsend defeated Tyler Thomas in a street fight at 15:41/official time of 14:02.
* Jody Threat spoke backstage about her match tonight!
4) Jessie V vs. Donovan Dijak vs. (Dante) Chen for the Alpha 1 Zero Gravity Title. Dijak wore a belt to the ring. Yes, the on-screen graphic lists him just as “Chen,” not “Dante Chen.” Dijak is maybe one inch taller than Jessie; I don’t think Jessie is used to being in the ring with someone taller than him! Chen and V clotheslined Dijak to the floor. Dijak got back in and hit some hard back elbows on Chen in the corner at 2:00. Chen hit a flying forearm and a dropkick on Dijak for a nearfall.
Dijak superkicked Chen. Jessie kicked Dijak and brawled with him. Jessie hit a huracanrana on Dijak at 4:00! He splashed him in the corner and hit a fallaway slam. Dijak shook the ropes to crotch Jessie in the corner. He hit a backbreaker over his knee on Chen, then a splash onto Chen for a nearfall. Jessie and Chen hit a team chokeslam on Dijak at 6:30. Chen hit flying back elbows in opposite corners. Chen hit a German Suplex on Jessie V for a nearfall, and suddenly they were all down.
Chen hopped on Dijak’s back and applied a sleeper, and they fell into a corner. However, Jessie hit a coast-to-coast dropkick across the ring onto both opponents at 10:00! Dijak hit a Mafia Kick on Chen for a nearfall, and everyone was down again. Dijak hit a Choke Bomb on Jessie V, but Chen rolled Dijak over for a nearfall. Chen hit a brainbuster on Dijak, dropping him on Jessie V, for a nearfall at 12:00.
Jessie V hit a DVD on Chen for a nearfall, but Dijak pulled the female ref from the ring. He shoved her, so she shoved Dijak back! Jessie hit a plancha onto Dijak. Chen hit a top-rope dive to the floor on Dijak. However, Dijak threw Chen into the ring and hit Feast Your Eyes on Chen. He tried to get Feast Your Eyes on Jessie, but Jessie avoided it and hit a bodyslam. Jessie V hit a top-rope frog splash to pin Dijak. That was really good action.
Jessie V defeated Donovan Dijak and (Dante) Chen to retain the Alpha 1 Zero Gravity Title at 14:09.
* Intermission went 20 minutes (even though they had a 15-minute clock on the screen).
5. Jody Threat vs. Kingsley in a grudge match. Kingsley sang her way to the ring. She tried a kick while singing, but Jody blocked it. Jody hit a series of clotheslines in the corner. Kingsley went for a second-rope crossbody block, but Jody caught her, and Jody turned it into a delayed vertical suplex, holding her upside down for several seconds before dropping her. Jody hit an F5 faceplant for the pin! YES, it really was that short!
Jody Threat defeated Kingsley at 1:44.
* A video package aired for Warhorse. Outside, Kody Lane talked about his title match tonight.
* Next up is a tag team gauntlet match featuring SIX teams. (I generally dislike gauntlets because the mini-matches are so short.) Nope, we only have FIVE teams, as Mark Wheeler (on crutches) and Del Bruno came to ringside to join the commentary team. They have bowed out of the match! The commentators believe Wheeler is faking an injury.
6a. “PME” Philly Collins and Marino Tenaglia vs. “Tye or Die” Ryan Matthias and Amazonga. It sure seems like Amazonga has replaced KJ Reynolds (who was advertised!) as Ryan’s regular teammate. Matthias and Tenaglia opened. The 400-pounder Amazonga got in and splashed Marino in a corner. ToD worked over Tenaglia and kept him grounded.
Philly got a hot tag at 3:00 and he low-bridged the top rope to send Amazonga flying to the floor. Collins hit a big Samoan Drop on Matthias, then a senton. PME worked over Matthias. Tenaglia dove to the floor on Amazonga while Collins got a nearfall on Matthias at 5:00. Matthias got a sunset flip to pin Collins!
“Tye or Die” Ryan Matthias and Amazonga defeated “PME” Philly Collins and Marino Tenaglia at 5:22.
6b. “Tye or Die” Ryan Matthias and Amazonga vs. “KPK” Abu and Ahmed. KPK jumped in the ring and immediately attacked ToD — no new bell or rest period! All four brawled. Abu (more slender than his partner) hit a spinebuster on Matthias for a nearfall. He hit a leg lariat, and Ahmed got a nearfall. KPK kept Matthias in their corner. Abu hit a flapjack for a nearfall at 3:00.
Amazonga (again, think Fallah Bahh) got the hot tag and attacked both opponents. He hit a double clothesline, then a running splash in opposite corners on each opponent. Matthias hit a top-rope elbow drop for a nearfall at 4:30. With the ref out of position, Ahmed hit a low-blow uppercut on Matthias, rolled him up, and got the tainted pin.
“KPK” Abu and Ahmed defeated “Tye or Die” Ryan Matthias and Amazonga at 5:11.
6c. Shane Sabre and Mike Forte (C) vs. “KPK” Abu and Ahmed. The champions carried their tag belts to the ring. Again, no bell, so I restarted the stopwatch at first contact. Forte hit a plancha to the floor on KPK. Sabre hit a DDT on Abu in the ring. The champs hit a team spear on Ahmed. Forte hit a running knee on Abu. They hit a Magic Killer-style DDT move on Abu and pinned him! That was quick! Ahmed jumped back into the ring and hit chairshots to the back of the winners.
Shane Sabre and Mike Forte defeated “KPK” Abu and Ahmed at 1:34.
6d) Shane Sabre and Mike Forte (C) vs. “Touch of Class” Sam Holloway and TJ Crawford. Reed wondered if KPK were paid off to take out the champions with those repeated chair shots. Sabre was down on the floor; he patted Forte on his chest and shouted, “You got this!” So, Forte got in the ring and traded punches with both heels. The ref settled it down with just one each in the ring. TJ stomped on Forte’s gut. They traded rollups. TJ hit a slingshot suplex on Forte at 2:00 and a Meteora in the corner. Sam grabbed Forte and hit a sit-out powerbomb for the pin! New champions! Sabre never got in there.
“Touch of Class” Sam Holloway and TJ Crawford defeated Shane Sabre and Mike Forte to win the tag team titles at 2:21.
* Brett Michael David spoke backstage about the three-way main event later.
7. Channing Thomas vs. Kody Lane vs. Brett Michael David for the Alpha 1 Title. BMD immediately attacked Channing at the bell. Kody hit a huracanrana on BMD and some chops on Channing. Kody hit a senton on Channing and kicked him to the floor. He kicked BMD in the face, and they brawled. Channing suplexed Kody from the apron back into the ring for a nearfall at 4:00. Kody hit a Mafia Kick that knocked BMD off the apron to the floor, and he continued to brawl with Channing.
BMD got in the ring and hit some clotheslines. He hit a Blue Thunder Bomb on Channing at 6:30, then tied him in a Crossface, but Kody hit a senton to break it up. Lane and BMD brawled on the ropes. Channing crotched BMD in the corner. BMD hit a Swanton Bomb. He hit a backbreaker over his knee on Lane. Channing hit a leaping piledriver on BMD for a nearfall at 9:00. Lane hit a Lionsault Press on Channing, who rolled to the floor. Channing dove through the ropes onto Kody at 10:30. BMD dove onto both of them, and they were all down on the floor.
BMD slid a table into the ring, but Channing dropkicked him. Kody hit a plancha-style senton over the ropes, crashing onto Channing on a table on the floor at 14:00, with the table exploding! In the ring, BMD hit a running Claymore Kick on Kody for a nearfall! Kody hit a second-rope piledriver on BMD, and BMD was (kayfabe) knocked out. Reed Duthie jumped up from commentary, and several referees checked on Brett. However, Channing threw Kody shoulder-first into a corner, and he covered the prone BMD for the pin.
Channing Thomas defeated Kody Lane and Brett Michael David to retain the Alpha 1 Title at 16:43.
* TJ Crawford and Sam Holloway came out of the back to celebrate with Channing in the ring. Touch of Class holds all the gold!
Final Thoughts: An entertaining show. Ichiban-Javi dazzled as the opener and earned best match. I’ll go with the Dijak three-way for second and the main event for third. I really hated last month’s Outer Limits Title match as there were nine guys, but it lasted less than seven minutes. This one worked for me, as it went a bit longer, and the pins felt like they made more sense.
One of the reasons these shows are so good is they use so much talent from across the Northeast and the Midwest; they aren’t just using local talent. Tyler Jordan is really talented. So is Bryce Hansen (he’s been criminally used so far in Maple Leaf Pro). The Thomas-Townsend match didn’t hold my interest, but the crowd liked it okay. I don’t object to Jody Threat winning so quickly, but it was a surprise; she is clearly a much better worker than Kingsley. The crowd was shocked that the tag title gauntlet ended so quickly.
