By Jason Powell, ProWrestling.net Editor (@prowrestlingnet)
The following matches are advertised for the AEW Full Gear pay-per-view on Saturday, November 14, in Phoenix, Arizona, at Mortgage Matchup Center.
-Hangman Page, Bandido, and Brody King vs. Swerve Strickland, Kofi, and Austin Creed for the AEW Trios Titles
-“The Young Bucks” Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson vs. Mark Davis and Jake Doyle for the AEW Tag Team Titles
-“The Brawling Birds” Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor vs. Harley Cameron and Kris Statlander for the AEW Women’s Tag Team Titles
Powell’s POV: Page accepted Swerve’s challenge for the rematch, but he declined Swerve’s demand that it be fought under Texas Death Match rules. So, technically, the match isn’t official, but it’s obviously going to happen. They also appeared to set up Will Ospreay vs. Kyle Fletcher for the AEW World Championship, Mercedes Mone vs. Marina Shafir for the AEW Women’s Championship, and perhaps an Anarchy in the Arena match with the Death Riders vs. David Finlay, Clark Connors, and members of the Bang Bang Gang. Again, though, none of those matches are officially advertised.
AEW pay-per-views cost $49.99 (or $39.99 via HBO Max). I don’t know if it’s been announced, but it looks like there will be another Tailgate Brawl pre-show simulcast on TNT and HBO Max at 6CT/7ET. Join me for my live review of the pay-per-view card at 7CT/8ET. Jake Barnett and I will team up for a same-night audio review for Dot Net Members (including our Patreon patrons).
