LA Knight made his entrance while being introduced by ring announcer Alicia Taylor. Knight cut a brief promo before he was interrupted by World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns’ entrance theme. Reigns made his usual slow walk to the ring.
Reigns and Knight went face-to-face. Reigns assumed Knight thinks he has a chance to beat him at Money in the Bank because he’s distracted by the 946. Reigns told Knight that he still doesn’t have a chance. Reigns called Knight a hypocrite. Reigns said he busted his ass when he defended his championship against Penta in Mexico City by attacking him from behind.
Reigns said Knight has always had his attention. Roman said Knight has run his mouth too much and made people think that they are on the same level. Roman said he is a doer while Knight is a complainer. Reigns said Knight bitches that the company has no plans for him. Roman said there are plans for Knight and called him just another egg in the omelette. “I’m gonna break your bitch ass,” Reigns said. He added that he’s the only true superstar in WWE. Reigns told the St. Louis crowd to acknowledge him and then tried to walk away.
Knight stopped Reigns. Knight said his problem with Reigns is that he’s the most manufactured puppet industry plant he’s ever seen. They shoved the rocket so far up Reigns’ ass that Knight’s surprised that Roman isn’t spitting out rocket fuel. Knight said he would make Reigns spit out something on Saturday, then added it might be “those big, ultraviolet teeth of yours.”
Knight said he would drop Roman on his head and walk out with the World Heavyweight Championship. He said Reigns would realize there was nothing he could do about it, and then added that it’s just a fact of life. Knight dropped the mic and left the ring…
