Gurv Sihra says he’s lucky to be alive. Sihra took to social media to share the news that he suffered a collapsed lung during an independent wrestling event on Saturday. “While performing in the ring, doing a move I’ve done for years, hospital X-Rays revealed I suffered a collapsed lung on my right side from the impact,” Sihra wrote. “The ER doctor said, ‘You are very lucky to be alive. Powell’s POV: Gurv wrestled as Sunil Singh in WWE. The 41-year-old was working Pure Power Wrestling’s Bridge City Brawl 5 event on Saturday in Lethbridge, Alberta, when he suffered the injury. Gurv thanked the promotion, everyone in the locker room, and his brother Harv Sihra (f/k/a Samir Singh) for helping to get the medical team to the venue in time to help him. Here’s hoping that Gurv makes a speedy and full recovery.
