AEW Dynamite rating (8/19): How did the penultimate edition before All In London fare?

By Jason Powell, ProWrestling.net Editor (@prowrestlingnet)

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite television show averaged 587,000 viewers for TBS, according to Dave Meltzer of F4Wonline.com. The viewership was down from the prior week’s average of 658,000. Dynamite finished with a 0.10 rating in the 18-49 demo, down from the previous week’s 0.14 rating in the same demo.

Powell’s POV: The HBO Max streaming numbers are not included in the rating or viewership count for AEW programming. The show averaged 617,000 viewers and a 0.11 rating in the 18-49 demo during the two hours the show is listed as running. In other words, the 34-minute overrun, which included a big angle involving All In London main eventers Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay, brought the numbers down. I’m baffled by the show running so long when it hurts the overall numbers, and including key segments at times when they know viewership declines. One year earlier, on August 20, 2025, Dynamite on TBS delivered 565,000 viewers and a 0.16 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
