AEW Collision rating (8/15): How did the show featuring the final Continental Cup opening round matches perform against NFL preseason games?

By Jason Powell, ProWrestling.net Editor (@prowrestlingnet)

The Saturday, August 15, AEW Collision television show averaged 409,000 viewers for TNT, according to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics.com. The show averaged a 0.06 rating in the 18-49 demographic. The previous Collision episode averaged 418,000 viewers for TNT with a 0.05 rating.

Powell’s POV: HBO Max streaming numbers are not included in the ratings or viewership counts for AEW programming. Collision ran against an NFL Network preseason game, as well as a full slate of preseason games that aired regionally. The competition won’t get any easier once college football returns. One year earlier, the August 16, 2025, AEW Collision on TNT averaged 286,000 viewers with a 0.06 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
