The first match has been made official for WWE Sunday Night’s Main Event. Nick Aldis announced Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton. The show will be held on Sunday, September 6, in Atlanta, Georgia, at State Farm Arena. Check out the official announcement below or via Nick Aldis’s Twitter/X page.
Powell’s POV: WWE doesn’t have a premium live event in September, so perhaps they will load up this show. With just Cody vs. Orton announced, Sunday Night’s Main Event already feels bigger than the Saturday Night’s Main Event shows have since becoming exclusive to the Peacock streaming service in the United States.
