1. “New Day” Big E and Kofi Kingston defeated Heavy Machinery and The Revival in a three-way elimination match to retain the Smackdown Tag Titles. The Revival eliminated Heavy Machinery, then New Day beat Revival to retain. Lots of comedy at the start of the match. Tons of gyrating and pelvic thrusting. There were chants for Otis during the match.

2. Elias beat Dolph Ziggler. Elias was in the ring and singing his songs when he was interrupted by Dolph. Bad jokes followed and then a match, which Elias won.

3. Nikki Cross beat Dana Brooke. Nikki won with a rollup.

4. Shinsuke Nakamura (w/Sami Zayn) beat Mustafa Ali to retain the Intercontinental Championship. Nakamura retained after interference from Zayn.

5. “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt defeated The Miz in a steel cage match to retain the WWE Universal Championship. Miz attacked the Fiend outside the cage before the bell. The match was five minutes bell to bell once they got in the cage. Fiend got put through a table and took the Skull Crushing Finale and kicked out at one. The Fiend applied the Mandible Claw after that and won. Not much of a reaction to The Fiend. Miz seemed to get more of a response.

6. Shorty G beat Cesaro. Shorty won with ankle lock. I’m still not sure why they didn’t make him Kurt Angle’s son. There were Shorty chants during the match. Cesaro swung him around 14 times.

7. Lacey Evans beat Bayley by DQ in a Smackdown Women’s Title match. Lacey won by DQ a la the Eddie Guerrero chair gimmick. Bayley slammed the chair down in the ring while the ref had his back turned and then threw the chair to Lacey. Bayley fell on the mat like she was hit. Lacey did the same thing and put the chair over her head and body. The ref thought Bayley hit her and called for the bell. Bayley is still the champ.

8. Roman Reigns beat King Corbin (w/Drake Maverick). Drake introduced the King and acted as a manager during this match. I’m not sure if this was a one time thing or the start of a new alliance.

Good show for a house show. Otis of Heavy Machinery got a good pop. I was surprised by how flat the crowd was for the Fiend. I’m not sure why we are supposed to cheer Lacey.
