The latest NWA 10 Pounds of Gold video features an angle that sets up Nick Aldis defending the NWA Championship against former NWA Champion Tim Storm. Check out the video at the NWA Youtube Page.
Powell’s POV: The video includes footage of Aldis defending the NWA Championship against Peter Avalon at a Championship Wrestling event that was held in Arizona over the weekend. Storm headed to the ring after the match to confront Aldis, who set the stipulation that if he beats Storm in their NWA Championship match then Storm can’t challenge for the NWA Championship again. Aldis also cuts a strong sit-down promo coming out of their confrontation. The NWA Title match will be held at the first night of the NWA studio wrestling television tapings on September 30 in Atlanta at GPB Studios.
