Impact Wrestling TV Taping
Las Vegas, Nevada at Sam’s Town Live
Report by Dot Net reader Mr. Eddy G

Xplosion: Rich Swann beat Kyle Hall.

1. “The Tough Guys” Bob Evans and Tim Hughes beat Mike Davecio and Yellow Dog.

2. Jessicka Havok (w/James Mitchell) beat Knockouts Champion Taya Valkyrie (w/John E Bravo) by DQ. Just as the match was about to begin, Tenille Dashwood joined the commentary team. The match ended with Bravo getting involved by grabbing Havok for the DQ. Taya got a chair and attacked Havok, but Dashwood came in to chase her off.

3. Johnny Swinger beat Owen Traverse.

Gama Singh was out next. He asked why the crowd always boos when he comes out. He said he’s better than us, and comes from a better country than us. He introduced Mahabali Shera, who was accompanied by Raj Singh and Rohit Raju. Cody Deaner and Cousin Jake arrived.

4. Mahabali Shera (w/Gama Sing, Rohit Raju, Raj Singh) beat Cousin Jake (w/Cody Deaner). Shera won with a Sky High and followed up with a Front Slam. Cody tried to save his cousin after the match, but he was pretty easily beaten down by the Desi Hit Squad.

Ken Shamrock headed to the ring to a big ovation. Ken said he has a lot of great memories here, especially become the first ever champion. Ken said he has a problem with Moose, who’s accomplished nothing here. The crowd chanted, “Where’s Moose?” Shamrock says he looked all over the back, in the parking lot, but couldn’t find him anywhere. He said he’s not leaving until Moose comes out here so he can put him in the grave. Moose was shown at Ken’s gym “Syndicate Martial Arts” bullying some of the staff. He got in the octagon where two guys were training and knocked them both out. Shamrock was furious and left.

5. Tenille Dashwood beat Madison Rayne. A woman in the crowd said to Madison: “Not my locker room leader.” Rayne responded rudely with a “Shut up, old lady,” which got a lot of heat.
Dashwood got the win with a running enzuguiri.

6. Eddie Edwards and Kenny the Kendo Stick vs. Reno Scum. This is supposed to be a tag team match and Kenny the kendo stick was apparently Eddie’s partner, as Eddie tied it up in the corner with the tag rope. Eddie eventually “tagged” Kenny in, and went to work on Luster the Legend and Adam Thornstowe with the kendo stick. Eddie got the pin after hitting Thornstowe with Kenny.

7. Micheal Elgin defeated TJ Perkins (w/Fallah Bahh). Elgin put away TJP with the Elgin Bomb. A very good match.

8. Daga defeated Chris Bey. X Division Champion Jake Crist joined Josh Mathews and Don Callis on commentary. After the match, Jake got in Daga’s face after and held up the title, leading to Dave Crist sneak attacking Daga. Tessa Blanchard came out to help Daga, and the Crists retreated.

Xplosion: “The Rascalz” Trey and Dez beat “Desi Hit Squad” Rohit Raju and Raj Singh (w/Gama Singh). Scott D’Amore and Johnny Swinger were on commentary.

The lights went down, LAX’s music played, and then wwo men dressed like Santana and Ortiz appeared. They had bandanas covering their faces, and revealed themselves to be “The North” Josh Alexander and Ethan Page. They mocked LAX until Konnan came out. Konnan said LAX may not be here, but he still has a lot of friends who want to beat Page and Alexander. Rob Van Dam and Rhino came out and a non-title match was made.

9. Rob Van Dam and Rhino beat The North in a non-title match. RVD and Rhino won with a Gore followed up with a Five Star Frog Splash.

The final segment was the Brian Cage and Melissa Santos wedding celebration. Most of the locker room came down as guests around the ring. As Brian and Melissa were having their first dance in the ring, Sami Callihan came out to interrupt the festivities. He said he and OVE weren’t invited to the wedding, and when they tried to get in, security wouldn’t let them. Sami said he had a bottle of champagne for them, but since he wasn’t allowed in, he drank it all (he had the empty bottle with him). Cage was upset and wanted Sami to leave. Sami pretended he was going to leave, but he swung the bottle at Brian but ended up hitting Melissa on the side of the head. Sami looked shocked and backed away, saying that he was aiming for Cage. Officials came out to look after Melissa, and Brian carried her to the back. This ended the show, and it was very well done.
