The following matches are advertised for the WWE Clash of Champions event that will be held on September 15 in Charlotte, North Carolina at Spectrum Center.

-Seth Rollins vs. Braun Strowman for the WWE Universal Championship.

-Kofi Kingston vs. Randy Orton for the WWE Championship.

-Becky Lynch vs. Sasha Banks for the Raw Women’s Championship.

-Bayley vs. Charlotte Flair for the Smackdown Women’s Championship.

-Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman vs. Bobby Roode and Dolph Ziggler for the Raw Tag Titles.

-Shinsuke Nakamura vs. The Miz for the Intercontinental Championship.

-The finals of the WWE King of the Ring tournament.

-Drew Gulak vs. Humberto Carrillo for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship.

Powell’s POV: WWE made the Raw Women’s Championship, Smackdown Tag Championship, Intercontinental Championship matches officials since our previous update. Each of the main roster titles will be defended on this event, so we’re still waiting for match announcements regarding the U.S. Title and the WWE Women’s Tag Titles.

The Pro Wrestling Boom Podcast with Jason Powell features Frank Zarrillo discussing his film "The Wrestler: A QT Marshall Story", which includes appearances by Matt Riddle, Damian Priest, Gerald Brisco, Kevin Kelly, Steve Corino, and many more, the involvement of Marshall's wife and mother, and much more. Stick around after the interview for Powell's audio review of Wednesday's AEW Dynamite television show...

  1. Where is WWE advertising the King of the Ring finals for Clash of the Champions? I haven’t seen any official confirmation from WWE anywhere.

    • It is or at least was. I read it in their official preview at one point. It’s possible it changed, but I know it was definitely there at one point. The timing is also right in that next week would be the semifinals leading up the finals at the PPV.
