-WWE Smackdown is in Baton Rouge, Louisiana at Raising Cane’s River Center with the brand’s last two King of the Ring first-round tournament matches. Join Jake Barnett for his weekly live review as the show airs on USA Network at 7CT/8ET. -The dark main events advertised on the arena website for tonight’s Smackdown taping are New Day vs. Randy Orton, Daniel Bryan, and Rowan, and Roman Reigns vs. Drew McIntyre.

-Sgt. Slaughter (a/k/a Robert Remus) is 70.

-The Great Khali (a/k/a Dalip Singh Rana) is 46.

-Jazz (a/k/a Carlene Moore-Begnaud) is 45.

-Milano Collection A.T. (a/k/a Akihito Sawafuji) is 43.

-Longtime booker and pro wrestler George Scott was born on August 27, 1929. He died at age 84 on January 20, 2014.

-Luna Vachon died of a drug overdose at age 48 on August 27, 2010.
