WWE Smackdown preview: The King of the Ring tournament continues

By Jason Powell, ProWrestling.net Editor (@prowrestlingnet)

WWE has announced the following matches and segments for tonight’s WWE Smackdown television show.

-Daniel Bryan vs. Buddy Murphy

-Kevin Owens vs. Elias in a first round King of the Ring match.

-Apollo Crews vs. Andrade in a first round King of the Ring match.

Powell’s POV: The official preview also questions how Kofi Kingston will respond to Randy Orton’s attacks. The winner of the Owens vs Elias match will then face the winner of Ali vs. Murphy in round two of the King of the Ring tournament, and the Crews vs. Andrade winner will face the winner of Chad Gable vs. Shelton Benjamin in the second round. Smackdown will air live from Sioux Falls, South Dakota at Denny Sanford Premier Center. Join me for the weekly live review of Smackdown tonight at 7CT/8ET. Dot Net Members will hear my same night audio review afterward, and Jake Barnett’s Smackdown Hit List will be available on Wednesday.
