The NWA released a new video featuring owner Billy Corgan announcing the launch of a new studio series. Corgan announced that the series will begin filming in Atlanta, Georgia, and dates listed were September 30 and October 1. Corgan stated that the series will be “unscripted, uncensored, and really in your face like in a way that no wrestling promotion has been in your face in a very long time.” Watch the video below or via the NWA Youtube Page.

Powell’s POV: Corgan technically said they will be doing television in October, but the video concluded with September 30 and October 1 listed. It’s a cool development that creates several questions such as where the show will air, how long will the show be, how many episodes will be taped at the television tapings, etc. The video played up the studio setting with a lot of classic footage. As someone who grew up on studio wrestling, I look forward to seeing the NWA’s vision for it in 2019.
