ROH and NWA part ways

By Jason Powell, ProWrestling.net Editor (@prowrestlingnet)

Ring of Honor will no longer air National Wrestling Alliance matches or footage on their television shows or pay-per-views. ProWrestling.net has confirmed a report by Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com that the two sides recently agreed to part ways.

Powell’s POV: The move is disappointing in that I found the NWA matches and angles to be among the highlights of ROH’s weekly television series. The NWA is focused on launching a weekly series. It will be interesting to see if it’s a Youtube series or they have another plan for distribution.

Jason Powell and Jake Barnett co-host the Dot Net Weekly and Pro Wrestling Boom Podcast combo show and discuss Raw Underground and other WWE concepts, The Rock's group buying the XFL, the Marty Jannetty story, AEW Dynamite and NXT TV, and more...
