WWE has announced the following matches and segments for tonight’s WWE Smackdown television show.
-Intercontinental Champion Finn Balor vs. Shinsuke Nakamura in a non-title match.
-Kevin Owens vs. Dolph Ziggler.
-Nikki Cross vs. Carmella.
-Aleister Black’s Extreme Rules opponent will be revealed.
-A tag team championship summit featuring Daniel Bryan and Rowan, Heavy Machinery, and Big E and Xavier Woods.
Powell’s POV: WWE added the Cross vs. Carmella match since our earlier update. This is the go-home show for Sunday’s Extreme Rules pay-per-view. It will be interesting to see what Kofi Kingston does on the show given that he sat out of Monday’s house show due to injury. Smackdown will air live from Manchester, New Hampshire at SNHU Arena. Join me for the weekly live review of Smackdown at 7CT/8ET. Dot Net Members will hear my same night audio review afterward. Jake Barnett has the night off, but he will write the Smackdown Hit List on Wednesday.
