The following matches were taped on June 12 in Winter Park, Florida at Full Sail University for tonight’s NXT television show. The match comments are from Zack Zimmerman’s (@DotNetZim) in-person report on the taping.
-Mia Yim over Aliyah (w/Vanessa Bourne). Bad match. Yim laid Bourne out after the match for good measure, then she went over to the commentary desk and cut a promo into the camera that the live crowd couldn’t hear.
-Kushida defeated Scott Parker (of Team 3.0). Not much to say here, this was fine.
-Cameron Grimes (f/k/a Trevor Lee) pinned Isaiah “Swerve” Scott (f/k/a Shane Strickland) in Breakout Tournament opening round match.
-Roderick Strong pinned Tyler Breeze. Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish came out to provide the distraction, allowing Roddy to hit his suplex backbreaker for the win.
