Jon Moxley will not appear at the NJPW G1 opener in Dallas

By Jason Powell, ProWrestling.net Editor (@prowrestlingnet)

New Japan Pro Wrestling announced that Jon Moxley will not appear at the G1 Climax tournament opening day event on July 6 in Dallas, Texas. Moxley will not attend the press conference that will be held the day before the event either, but he will join the G1 tour on July 13 in Tokyo. Read the official announcement at NJPW1972.com.

Powell’s POV: It’s unfortunate for any fans who bought tickets assuming Moxley would appear in Dallas. There’s no word yet as to whether this is related to Moxley’s deal with All Elite Wrestling or if there’s another reason he will not attend.
