Ric Flair has been forced to pull out of the celebrity comedy roast that was scheduled to be part of Starrcast II weekend. TMZ.com reports that Flair will not be able to appear at his own roast due to medical issues and a forthcoming surgery.

Powell’s POV: “The Roast of Ric Flair” and Starrcast II are being promoted by Flair’s son-in-law Conrad Thompson, who has yet to make a formal announcement regarding the status of the roast. It’s certainly understandable that Flair won’t be up to make the trip even if he undergoes surgery today. Flair’s surgery was scheduled for last week and was postponed due to medical issues.
