Alexa Bliss pulled from WWE Money in the Bank due to medical issue

By Jason Powell, ProWrestling.net Editor (@prowrestlingnet)

WWE announced that Alexa Bliss has not been medically cleared to take part in the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match on Sunday. The announcement simply stated that “a suitable replacement will be announced.”

Powell’s POV: Bliss missed time previously and acknowledged that she has suffered multiple concussions. In this case, WWE did not specify the nature of the injury that will causer her to miss the event, though obviously it could be related to her head trauma issues.

  1. Sad for Alexa, think she was favourite to win back to back cases. I’m guessing nikki cross makes the most sense to replace her after this week’s raw

  2. Her health is way more important than a match. Hopefully whatever it is, it’s indeed minor, and not concussion related.

MiTB is now of absolute no interest to me though. I pretty much only keep tabs on WWE for my favorite wrestlers. With Moxley/Ambrose gone, and Bliss maybe hurt, it’s not at all going to be able to keep my attention.
