All Elite Wrestling’s television deal with Turner is expected to be announced next week. TheWrap.com reports that the partnership is expected to be announced an hour before Turner parent company WarnerMedia’s upfront event on Wednesday. Turner is expected to air the weekly AEW television show on TNT beginning in the fall.

Powell’s POV: Jake Barnett and I have stated repeatedly during past Dot Net Weekly audio shows that the Turner upfront event was one to keep a close eye on. The Wrap originally speculated that AEW is doing a time buy from Turner. For what it’s worth, they did not double down on that in the latest story. Rather, they simply said terms of the deal are not available because AEW is not a publicly traded company like WWE is.
