The following are the results of the NXT UK television shows that aired Wednesday, May 8 on WWE Network.

Sid Scala announced that eight men would compete for a fatal four-way spot four weeks from now to determine the number one contender for the WWE UK Championship.

1. “Moustache Mountain” Tyler Bate and Trent Seven defeated Primate and The Wild Boar.

Amir Jordan was shown backstage being helped to the trainer’s room by Kenny Williams. The announcers questioned who would team with Kenny Williams in the main event.

2. Joe Coffey defeated Flash Morgan Webster. After the match, Gallus members’ Joe Coffey, Mark Coffey, and Wolfgang declared Glasgow their city and kingdom.

A video package was shown of Pete Dunne training for Dunne vs. Walter II in two weeks time.

3. Nina Samuels defeated Kasey Owens. After the match, Radzi interviewed Nina in the ring. She praised Toni Storm for living her dream, but she said that dream came at a selfish price. She said Toni is getting to live her dream after abandoning her single mother and baby sister at home.

Dave Mastiff hyped his match against Wolfgang next week followed by Kay Lee Ray saying she is once again being overlooked.

4. “The Grizzled Young Veterans” James Drake and Zack Gibson defeated Kenny Williams and Noam Dar to retain the NXT UK Tag Team Championship.

Gleed’s Ramblings: I thoroughly enjoyed the show this week with a lot happening in the hour. Every segment built nicely to the next five weeks of television. One complaint I’ve had with NXT UK since it’s inception is that below the WWE UK Title there didn’t seem to be much going on. The void has been filled with the NXT UK Tag Team Titles and this mini tournament to determine the number one contender. Add to that to a women’s division, which I would put up there with any other female roster, and you have a good hour of wrestling. The Noam Dar surprise in the main event was a wonderful surprise for the Glaswegian crowd and created a great atmosphere for the final match on the show.
