WWE postpones Monday’s Smackdown live event, Smackdown wrestlers expected to appear on Raw

By Jason Powell, ProWrestling.net Editor (@prowrestlingnet)

WWE postponed the Smackdown live event that was scheduled for Monday in Corbin, Kentucky at The Corbin Arena. A note on the venue Facebook page notes that the event has been rescheduled for October 17.

Meanwhile, Roman Reigns tweeted that he will appear on Monday’s Raw due to having “unfinished business.” The official WWE Twitter page responded by stating that “as of now” Reigns will not appear on Raw due to his obligations as a Smackdown wrestler.

Powell’s POV: So after a Superstar Shakeup that has awkwardly been spread out over three weeks of television, WWE is going to break the brand split rules for Monday’s Raw. Given the ratings, I guess desperate times call for desperate measures.

  1. If you don’t watch SmackDown Live as it airs or within the next few following days then it can often seem like for you, Roman Reigns has disappeared completely out of existence since he isn’t on Raw anymore.
