WWE announced their return to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium for Friday, June 7. WWE.com is advertising Roman Reigns, Undertaker, Kofi Kingston, Braun Strowman, Seth Rollins, Goldberg, AJ Styles, and Brock Lesnar for the event.

Powell’s POV: WWE will stream the event on WWE Network. This is the company’s third event of the ten-year agreement the company made with Saudi General Sports Authority. WWE officials faced heavy scrutiny for going ahead with the Crown Jewel event in November 2018 despite journalist Jamal Khashoggi being murdered by agents of the Saudi government. The Saudi government made headlines again last month for beheading 37 citizens for alleged terrorism-related crimes.
