The next WWE pay-per-view event, Money in the Bank, will be held on Sunday, May 19 in Hartford, Connecticut at the XL Center. The arena’s website lists a men’s and a women’s Money in the Bank match for the event. The winners of the MITB matches will receive a contract for a future championship match at the time of their choosing.
Powell’s POV: For what it’s worth, the XL Arena website is advertising Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, AJ Styles, Daniel Bryan, Braun Strowman, Finn Balor, Bobby Lashley, Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks, and Bayley. The company has plenty of time between WrestleMania and MITB to build the event, though my guess is that the majority of the build will come after next week’s Superstar Shakeup.
