WWE officially announced the signing of Kushida on Friday. WWE released footage of Kushida signing a contract with Triple H and William Regal for the NXT brand.

Powell’s POV: Triple H referred to Kushida as one of the biggest international stars in the world. He left NJPW when his deal expired and was expected to make the jump to NXT.
