Mexico’s AAA promotion will run New York City’s Madison Square Garden on Sunday, September 15. The show was announced at a press conference at MSG on Thursday. Tickets for the event will go on sale on May 5. The press conference was broadcast live via Facebook.com/luchalibreaaa.
Powell’s POV: The press conference featured several AAA personalities and some New York and MSG dignitaries. It will be interesting to see how this event draws and whether All Elite Wrestling will be involved. Update: There was no mention of AEW being involved, but Impact Wrestling management was in attendance.
