4/3 NXT UK TV results with Haydn Gleed’s summary

By Haydn Gleed, ProWrestling.net Staffer (@haydngleed)

The following are the results of the NXT UK television show that aired Thursday, April 3 on WWE Network.

1. Kenny Williams and Amir Jordan defeated Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel.

2. Kay Lee Ray defeated Isla Dawn.

Grizzled Young Veterans cut a promo on Kenny Williams and Amir Jordan to set up their match down the line.

3. Joe Coffey defeated Trent Seven.

Gleed’s Ramblings: Somewhat of a filler show with some decent in-ring action. Although neither Pete Dunne or Walter from the NXT Takeover match were featured, numerous references were made on commentary by the announcers and wrestlers alike. It appears they are setting up Jordan Devlin as the first opponent for whoever wins the match on Friday. They also setup the showdown between Toni Storm and Jinny next week with a backstage beatdown by the challenger on the champion and a great promo (as always) from Zach Gibson talking about the new challengers for the tag team titles. Overall, a missable show but not one that you would regret watching.
