The NWA issued the following press release to promote their Crockett Cup weekend VIP events.

Friday Event
Exclusive Dine and Meet with with the Main Event of the Crockett Cup Marty Scurll and NWA World Champion Nick Aldis. Also appearing NWA National Champion Willie Mack, NWA Vice President David Lagana and Kamille.
– Dine and Eat will start at 6pm on 4/26/19.
– Three hour exclusive dining experience
– Sit, eat and talk with Marty Scurll, Nick Aldis, Willie Mack, Kamille and David Lagana
– Food and Soft Drinks included in ticket price. Alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase.
– Three photo opportunities at this event.
  • Nick Aldis and the 10lbs of Gold
  • Willie Mack and the NWA National Title Belt
  • Marty Scurll
– Special Event “Crockett Cup” Pin included with dine and eat purchase.
– Limited to 39
– Dine and eat experience will be a private event held at the Corner Bar
– You must have a ticket to attend this event. Walk up tickets will not be available for purchase.
-This event is non-refundable
Saturday Event
Exclusive event featuring meet and greets with NWA Legends along with the current Champions of the NWA along with 4 Panels.
– ticket includes a photo and an autograph from the following stars(limit of 1 per ticket)

  • NWA Women’s World Champion Jazz

  • the Future- featuring NWA President Billy Corgan and Jim Cornette. Immediately following this panel you will have the opportunity to take a photo with Billy Corgan, Jim Cornette and the Crockett Cup Trophy. *Please note this is the only Billy Corgan photo op available for the day*
  • Legacy of the NWA Championships- featuring current NWA Champions Nick Aldis, Willie Mack and Jazz
  • Tag Team Rivalry- featuring one of NWA’s greatest tag team rivals the Midnight Express with Jim Cornette and the Rock n Roll Express
  • Summer of 86 – featuring Magnum TA and Nikita Koloff
-event will run from 11a-4p prior to the evenings Crockett Cup Tournament
-you must have a ticket to attend this event
-event will be held in Gold Hall 1 at the Cabarrus Arena & Event Center
-No refunds will be allowed on this event

Powell’s POV: It’s a cool opportunity to meet some of the legends and current stars. The actual Crockett Cup event will take place on April 27 at Cabarrus Arena. The show will feature Nick Aldis vs. Marty Scurll for the NWA Championship, and the Crockett Cup tag team tournament.
