King Kong Bundy (Christopher Pallies) reportedly died on Sunday at age 61. The cause of death is unknown as of this update.

Powell’s POV: Bundy worked the territories before his big WWF run started in 1985. He headlined WrestleMania II in a cage match against Hulk Hogan for the WWF Championship. Bundy also did some acting work, which included multiple appearances on the “Married With Children” sitcom as a relative of female lead character Peg Bundy (Katey Sagal). My condolences to his friends and family.

  1. I’ll never forget when Bundy fought Andre at Madison Square Garden in what was called “The Colossal Jostle.”

  2. Bundy was phenomenal for his size, understood working over wrestling, and was one of the smartest men in the business getting out before it destroyed him.
