The NWA has released its latest “10 Pounds of Gold” video entitles “Carpe Diem”. The video features footage of Nick Aldis meeting with Dory Funk Jr. Watch the video below or at the NWA Youtube Page.
Powell’s POV: Funk spoke about his father, the move he is credited with, and praises Aldis for what he’s done for the NWA Championship. It’s a treat to see the current NWA Champion talking shop with and showing great respect for a legendary NWA Champion.
The NWA Crockett Cup will be held on April 27 in Concord, North Carolina at Cabarrus Arena. Tickets are available via Ticketmaster.com and range from $30 to $70. Teams from the NWA, NJPW, ROH, and CMLL will be involved in the tournament, and Aldis will defend the NWA Championship against Marty Scurll.
