John Cena lands a hosting gig at Nickelodeon

John Cena will host a Nickelodeon version of “Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader.” Variety.com ran a feature on the network’s president Brian Robbins, and noted that the Cena hosted series is part of Robbins’ plans break out of a ratings slump.

Powell’s POV: The story offered no additional details regarding the the show, which originally aired on Fox and was hosted by comedian Jeff Foxworthy. The series ran for four season on Fox and two seasons ran in syndication.
