The WOW women’s promotion debuts tonight on AXS TV at 8CT/9ET. The lineup or the show lists Tessa Blanchard arriving, and Santana Garrett vs. Jungle Grrrl for the WOW Championship.
Powell’s POV: The shows were taped in Los Angeles, California in October. WOW will have a six-week run on AXS and both sides are open to a longer relationship. I had a good conversation with WOW head writer and play-by-play voice Stephen Dickey about the promotion this week on the Pro Wrestling Boom Podcast. David McLane of GLOW fame and Eleanor” EZ Rider” Kerrigan are also on the broadcast team.
