The following matches were taped on Saturday in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at PPG Paints Arena for tonight’s WWE Smackdown television show.
-The New Day announced their entry into the Royal Rumble match.
-Samoa Joe defeated Jeff Hardy to earn a spot in the five-way main event.
-Sonya Deville defeated Naomi.
-John Cena and Becky Lynch defeated Andrade Almas and Zelina Vega.
-AJ Styles defeated Rey Mysterio, Randy Orton, Mustafa Ali, Samoa Joe in a five-way to earn a WWE Championship match at the Royal Rumble.
