Tuesday’s WWE Smackdown Live scored a 1.39 rating, down from the 1.57 rating the show drew last week. As previously noted, the show averaged 1.948 million viewers, down from last week’s 2.264 million viewers.

Powell’s POV: A lousy number for Smackdown with a steep drop from the previous week’s episode. I continue to wonder how much of the poor quality of Raw is causing fans to take a pass on another night of wrestling. There was no special sports programing of major network programming airing opposite Smackdown this week. The December 5, 2017 edition of Smackdown delivered a 1.76 rating with 2.493 million viewers.
