Ring of Honor officially announced Matt Taven vs. Dalton Castle for the Final Battle event. ROH is advertising the match as Castle challenging for Taven’s “Real World Title”. Final Battle will be held on Friday, December 14 in New York, New York at the Hammerstein Ballroom. Read the official announcement at ROHWrestling.com.
Powell’s POV: The Castle character will have to explain why he would care about Taven’s silly fake title belt. Final Battle is expected to be headlined by Jay Lethal vs. Cody for the ROH Championship. ROH has yet to officially announce that match, and it could be in jeopardy due to Cody’s knee injury, though Cody has indicated that he intends to work the show.
