Tuesday’s WWE Smackdown Live scored a 1.55 rating, up from the 1.46 rating the show drew last week. As previously noted, the show averaged 2.110 million viewers, up from last week’s 2.087 million viewers.

Powell’s POV: Smackdown increased over last week’s number. However, last week’s show ran opposite a World Series game, whereas this week’s show received a minimal viewership increase despite not running against opposing programming. We can only wonder what type of number the show would have drawn had they announced the AJ Styles vs. Daniel Bryan match in advance. The October 31, 2017 edition of Smackdown delivered a 1.53 rating with 2.119 million viewers.
