First WWE Survivor Series match announced

WWE announced Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey vs. Smackdown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch for Survivor Series. The event will be held on November 18 in Los Angeles, California at Staples Center. Read the official preview at WWE.com.

Powell’s POV: Neither title is on the line, as the match is billed as a champion vs. champion match. WWE plays up Survivor Series as the one night each year when Raw and Smackdown wrestlers meet in matches (it’s not), so look for several Raw vs. Smackdown style matches on this show.

  1. As you say its not the only time raw and smackdown stars face off, in fact there will be one this Friday with he final of the world cup. So while promoting one ppv they disregard something happening in a ppv 2 weeks earlier. well done WWE
