A segment was filmed for Xavier Woods’s “Up Up Down Down” show. There will be a League of Legends (Seth Rollins, Cesaro, Tyler Breeze, Ruby Riott, and a pro) vs. Team NXT (Adam Cole, Johnny Gargano, Shayna Baszler, Dakota Kai, Tyler1).

Backstage, William Regal briefed security that Aleister Black needed to see him right when he gets to the building.

Undisputed Era came out and put out a warning for the NXT Roster. They said they demolished War Raiders and people will fear NXT because it belongs to The Undisputed Era. EC3 came out and said Adam Cole doesn’t deserve a rematch for the North American Title.

1. EC3 defeated Adam Cole. Undisputed Era beat down EC3 post match in a way that seemed like an injury angle.

2. Mia Yim defeated Aliyah.

3. Kassius Ohno defeats Justin Xavier. Nikki Cross came out and laughed at Ohno and then left.

Regal came out and tries to announce Tommaso Ciampa’s opponent for Takeover. Ciampa comes out and was rude to Regal. Velveteen Dream came out and said he has the scoop for Regal, he wants Regal to say his name. Lars Sullivan out, he says this isn’t up for debate, this is Lars Sullivan Territory and the NXT Title belongs to him. Dream insulted Lars, who choked him with a single hand. Nikki Cross ran out and said he’s coming. Aleister Black came from the crowd and knocked out Lars with a kick. Gargano ran out and superkicked Black. Gargano put on his hood, implying he was the one who took out Black.

4. Street Profits defeated The Mighty.

5. Nikki Cross defeated Mercedes Martinez. Candice LeRae came out to confront Cross. Black stopped Nikki from leaving, but then turned his attention to Candice, who walked right up to him and was not afraid. Black said something to her before leaving.

6. Matt Riddle beat Luke Menzies.

7. Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch over Raul Mendoza and Roberto Carrillo.

Undisputed Era, War Raiders, and Ricochet had a brawl outside that ended up spilling inside. Pete Dunne showed up and fought Undisputed Era. Regal announce a War Games Match for Takeover featuring The Undisputed Era vs. War Raiders, Ricochet, and Pete Dunne.

8. Heavy Machinery over Wesley Blake and Steve Cutler.

9. Dakota Kai defeated Taynara Conti.

10. Bianca Belair defeated Mia Yim.

11. Lacey Evans over Karissa Rivera.

12. Kyle O’Reilly beat Hanson of War Raiders to give his team the advantage in the War Games match. There was a lot of interference from both teams.

13. Lars Sullivan defeated Velveteen Dream. Tommaso Ciampa distracted Dream, which led to Sullivan getting the win. Ciampa beat up Dream post match. Dream made a comeback before the referees broke them up.
