NWA Women’s Title match to be held at the 70th Anniversary event

By Jason Powell, ProWrestling.net Editor (@prowrestlingnet)

The NWA released a new video on Monday featuring NWA Women’s Champion Jazz, who will defend the title at the NWA 70th Anniversary event on October 21. The NWA has stated that her challenger for the Nashville event, which will be broadcast on FITE TV, will be named later this week. Check out the video at the NWA Youtube Page.

Powell’s POV: Jazz is the NWA Women’s Champion? Who knew? Actually, she’s held the title since 2016, but there was no indication until now that it would be recognized under Billy Corgan’s ownership. It’s a good video that shows Jazz working her day job at a correction facility. She then cusses as she talks about her life in wrestling and how the title will be her legacy. Jazz spent time in ECW and had multiple runs in WWE.
