WWE announces Evolution reunion, Batista returning

By Jason Powell, ProWrestling.net Editor (@prowrestlingnet)

WWE announced that Evolution members Batista, Triple H, Randy Orton, and Ric Flair will reunite on the Smackdown 1000 event. The show will be held on October 16 in Washington, D.C. Read the official announcement at WWE.com.

Powell’s POV: It’s good to see that WWE and Dave Bautista are on the same page again. He previously vented via social media about not being part of the Smackdown 1000 despite the fact that it will be held in his hometown. This will be his first appearance since his acting career took off thanks to The Guardian of the Galaxy films.

The Best of The Boom features Eric Bischoff joining Jason Powell in this March 20, 2019 discussion on whether there are similarities between Verne Gagne's booking during the AWA's dying days and Vince McMahon's WWE booking today, AEW, a Turner network shakeup, and more...

  1. Great to see a pedophile supporter back on WWE TV.

  2. It’ll be interesting to see how they position them, if they do more than just run them out for an appearance. It’d be super, super cool to see them go against the Club, 3 on 3, with Ric in the corner for Evolution.

  3. Hmm, I dunno maybe Evolution vs…the New Day? Or Tye Dillinger and 2 partners?
