Thursday’s Impact Wrestling television drew 222,000 total viewers on Pop TV, according to Showbuzzdaily.com. The number was down from the 229,000 viewers the show accumulated the previous week.
Powell’s POV: Viewership was down, but it could have been worse given that Impact was opposed by the Vikings vs. Rams game that was simulcast on Fox and NFL Network. The game delivered over a combined 17.5 million viewers between the two networks. It was the first Thursday night to air on Fox, and their Thursday NFL broadcasts will continue through mid-December. Last year, Impact Wrestling produced 264,000 viewers for the September 28 edition that carried the Victory Road theme.
