Cody will make his first NWA Title defense on September 29. Cody will face Willie Mack for the NWA Championship at the Ring of Honor television taping in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Orleans Arena.
Powell’s POV: The match was announced at Sunday’s Championship Wrestling From Hollywood television taping in California. Cody is also scheduled to defend the NWA Championship against Nick Aldis at the NWA’s 70th Anniversary event on October 21 in Nashville, Tennessee. The anniversary show will be available for purchase via FITE TV.
