The following matches and events are advertised for tonight’s WWE Smackdown television show.
-Brie Bella vs. Maryse.
-Smackdown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair vs. Sonya Deville in a non-title match.
-Andrade Almas vs. R-Truth.
-U.S. Champion Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Jeff Hardy.
-Sheamus and Cesaro vs. Rusev and Aiden English for a Smackdown Tag Title shot at Hell in a Cell.
Powell’s POV: This is the final show before Sunday’s Hell in a Cell event. It looks like the Nakamura vs. Hardy match that will open the show will actually be a non-title match. My apologies for listing it as a title match on Monday. WWE has announced that the Brie vs. Maryse match will serve as the main event. I assume that will be more of an angle than a match.
