Smackdown general manager Paige announced via social media that there will be a pair of Triple Threat tag team matches with the winning teams meeting to determine the No. 1 contenders to the Smackdown Tag Titles at the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view. The first Triple Threat will feature Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson vs. Primo Colon and Epico Colon vs. Sheamus and Cesaro meeting on Tuesday’s Smackdown.

Powell’s POV: The winners of the latest mini-tournament on Smackdown will challenge New Day for the tag titles at Smackdown. The top candidates for the second Triple Threat match are the Usos and Sanity. There’s not another regular team on the brand unless they intend to put Rusev and Aiden English back together.
